About us

In recent years, Japanese culture has acquired a progressive 
importance among cultural spheres all over the world. 
Furthermore, the recent growth in tourism to Japan has been very significant and 
has generated greater attention towards various aspects of Japanese culture.

One of these cultural aspects that cannot be ignored is the role Japanese landscape and 
gardening play in Japanese culture and how they are evaluated and admired for their beauty around the world.

We as experts in this sector have noticed an increase in demand for 
construction of authentic traditional and modern Japanese gardens, but, at the same time, 
we have found that there is no organization that can provide this genuine product outside of Japan.

One of the reasons it is so difficult to export this product is 
that a Japanese traditional garden is one of the most complex art forms, and 
it is made by an artisan who masters his profession. 
Therefore, it cannot be made by just following a paper of instructions. 
It is a piece of art that needs to be completed by an artist.

Using our wide network, we have managed to build a team of more than 100 artisans and 
be able to send them wherever is needed abroad. 
Each of them is specialized in every aspect that it is necessary to complete this complex piece of art.

The origin of our brand name “Shisui” is from the word “Shikansuiyou” 
which in Japanese means “The fresh, green and beautiful appearance of the mountain trees”. 
We are committed to playing a leading role in transmitting how to express, 
get closer to, and better understand nature.

近年、日本文化は世界の文化圏の中で重要性を増しており、
日本に訪れる観光客の増加も著く、日本文化の様々な側面への注目が高まっています。
その中で、日本の景観、庭園が日本文化に果たす役割や、
その美しさが世界中で評価され、賞賛されていることは、無視できない側面です。

この分野の専門家である私たちは、
伝統的・現代的日本庭園の施工に対する需要が高まっていることを実感しながらも、
同時に、日本国外にこれを提供できる組織がないことも認識しています。

本物の庭園を海外に持ち出すことが難しい理由の一つとしては、
日本庭園が最も複雑な芸術形態の一つであり、
その職業を極めた庭師によってのみ造られる物だということがあります。
そのため、日本庭園は、設計図をなぞるだけでは作れず、いわば芸術家の手によってのみ完成される作品なのです。

私たちは、幅広いネットワークを駆使して、100人以上の庭師でチームを形成し、
海外のどこでも必要な職人を派遣できる組織を実現しました。
チームを形成する庭師は、伝統的なものから現代的なものまで、
和風庭園を完成させるために必要な、あらゆる側面に精通しています。

企業名「紫翠」の由来は、
「山の木々がみずみずしく青々としている美しい様子」を意味する
「紫幹翠葉（しかんすいよう）」からきています。
私たちは、自然を表現し、自然に親しみ、
自然を理解する方法を伝える重要な役目を果たしたいと考えています。
